He was bred by Otto Boje Schoof at Hedwigenkoog, Germany and has an impressive bloodline. Leon Spronken brought the stallion under his management at Spronken Stables, as a 2-year-old foal. Since 2019, Uricas is managed by Caius Spronken and brought the van de Kattevennen top horse under Harrie Smolders.
